Become a Friends of Slide Rock Volunteer! |
|
Volunteers are the core of our group. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to help maintain the historical buildings and vehicles at the park, plan the Slide Rock Apple Fest, maintain the heritage garden or complete the myriad of projects that need to be done. Volunteering with the Friends of Slide Rock gives you the chance to learn more about the historical and biological significance of Slide Rock State Park and Oak Creek Canyon. As a volunteer, you will also have the opportunity to work directly with Park Staff and other non-profit groups dedicated to preserving the park.
All volunteers will complete a brief orientation to better prepare them for volunteering at the park. Below you will find a complete list of volunteer opportunities. Once you have found one (or more) categories that appeal to you, click the Volunteer Link below to send us an email. Please be sure to include your name, phone number and the position(s) for which you are interested in volunteering. |
